The final of the Men’s and Women’s championships were decided today, our 2021/ 22 winners have been awarded to Chris Love and Anne Draffen.
Chris Love def Rick Sloan. In a very entertaining match 25-23 it was such a great match to be apart of, Rick jumped to an early lead but it was Chris that was able to come from behind and claim his Second Championship.
Anne Draffen def Janine Jensen. Anne got off to an early lead and was able to hold on to that for the match, Janine played some extremely nice bowls but fell short on the day 25-12 well done to both ladies and a great match.
Chris and Anne will now represent Ballan at the champion of champions late next month.
On Saturday we had a great turnout in our practince match against Bungaree Bowling Club, this was a really great hitout for both clubs, I feel we all got something from it and look forward to many battles over the years to come.
