Ballan Bowls Results – December 12, 2021

Midweek 7 December Ballan played Victoria Bowls club on a grey overcast day that was interrupted by occasional showers. The weather did not seem to worry Ballan as they came away with a very good win. Grant Stirling rink won (34-8) while the Brian Dowling rink won (31-9).

Division 3 had a top of the table clash with Linton Bowls club at home. As the ladder position showed the game was close all day but it was Ballan that came out on top by 8 shots. Best rink was Michael (Roo) Conroy, Scott McConnell, Chris Love and Dave O’Hanlon (s).

Division 7 had a home game against Ballarat East Bowls Club. After a slow start Ballan was able to pick their game up and came away with a win by 29 shots. Best rink was Janine Jensen, Terry Hodge, Ken Warwick and Neville (Yabby) Smith (s).

It was a great team effort by all sides!
